Julie Daley Clawson

Julie Clawson has been a small business accountant and controller for over 25 years.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree at Western International University in 2010.  Julie was born and raised on a cotton farm in Southeastern Arizona.  She learned to get in and get the job done from a very young age.  Julie is very organized and loves to manage people.  She has outstanding leadership skills with a drive for success. 

Julie has held several positions over the years but mostly in controller or CFO positions, which she is the fondest of.  Julie has held positions in a payroll company, Software technology company, Franchisee company, several landscapers, and a non-profit charity.  The experience at these companies has allowed her to gain extensive experience in accounting. Julie also has a working knowledge of many software programs. Julie is a pro advisor for Quickbooks Online.  One of Julie’s fondest tasks is start-up businesses preparing companies and seeing them through to success. 

Julie has great listening skills that she uses to motivate and negotiate.  Julie has a solid ability to ensure revenue goals are met by using the resources provided to her.  Julie has strong expertise in purchasing, inventory control, operations, and general accounting.  Julie has an excellent track record of meeting accounting deadlines, fostering, and nurturing strong business relationships, and having excellent skills in customer relations. 

Julie likes to spend some of her time volunteering in the community specifically in the foster care community.  Julie is married with 3 adopted children that all were at one time foster children; she also has 3 Boston Terrier dogs.  When Julie isn’t at work, she enjoys camping, crafts, playing games, and spending time with her family.

As part of a CPA’s licensing they are required to stay current on the tax code.  This is changing rapidly in this day and age.  We leave the tax filing to the CPA’s and record everything and have it ready for them.  An Accountant records all transactions, audits accounting, reconciliation of accounts, and gives you a monthly financial analysis.

Yes. We can enter and pay bills through different methods for you. The most common ways is through billpay through your bank portal and then recording them into an accounting system such as Quickbooks online.

Yes. For a small business one of the most user-friendly accounting systems out there is Quickbooks Online.  We are Quickbooks Online certified and can help you bill your clients through this accounting system.

Most small businesses want a monthly quick check-in and a quarterly review of their financials.  However, we can customize anything you are looking for.

No. Although we work very closely with tax accountants and can refer you to some great ones. We do not file taxes.

That depends.  We mainly work remotely, however depending on your comfort level we can either do our meetings in person, or via zoom.  Most work will happen behind the scenes, not at your place of business.
